As a government gateway provider for the Kickstart Scheme we have seen first hand the benefits of what the scheme can offer to both employers and employees.
At the commencement of the scheme, we ourselves at Centric HR utilised the scheme to offer a number of work placements to young people looking for opportunities. In total we have provided 4 work experience placements with one of the kickstarters James securing a full-time job with us, whilst another is due to take up an exciting new position with one of our suppliers after impressing here.
The scheme gave valuable work experience to the Kickstarters offering some of them a first insight into a busy office environment; whilst it provided us with not only valuable extra pairs of hands to develop new areas of the business but an injection of new ideas and fresh input, all funded by the government.
